This is a simple, nourishing recipe that has worked really well for my child. These fritters are very soft, making them easy for babies to manage, and they’re quick to prepare using everyday ingredients. I often rely on this meal on busy days because it suits babies and toddlers while still fitting into family meals.
Corn cobs provide natural carbohydrates, fibre, and antioxidants that support energy needs, digestion, and eye health in growing children. SCarrots are rich in beta-carotene (vitamin A), which supports healthy vision, immune function, and skin development in toddlers. They also provide dietary fibre to support digestion and are naturally sweet, making them easy for young children to accept when cooked
Eggs are a complete protein source and contain choline, which is important for brain development and learning in babies and toddlers. Wholemeal wheat flour provides fibre, B-vitamins, and minerals that support digestion and steady energy release.
Garlic contains natural compounds studied for their immune-supporting and antimicrobial properties, while cumin has been traditionally used and researched for aiding digestion and reducing gas, making meals gentler on young tummies when used in small amounts.
